    1. Thank you Ingrid and I am so glad you stopped by my blog. Your comment made me smile 🙂
I miss you and everyone from BC so much. We will have to organize a nice meet-up when I get back home on the 22nd. I hope you’re having a great week so far and can’t wait to see you again soon!

  1. Hi I love the quiche too! It looked so yummy. And I can’t believe that French fast food just look like the normal food that I will cook at home. Amazing!

  2. Your camera is dead? You are taking too many beautiful photos. I think your camera has done its job. No worry! I enjoying reading your posts and study the photos you took. It is one of my best relaxing moments of the day! Way to go, Baby!

  3. The crispy, creamy dessert! OMG! it looked so yummy. Do you know how to make it? maybe we can try to make it if we have time. I haven’t cooked Japanese Noddle foe a long time. But I prefer with sauce. The sauce is the best part!

    1. I think French desserts are almost impossible to copy at home. They are just so precise and you need to be a magician and chemist to create them! But they are lovely to enjoy here 🙂
These had garlic-sesame sauce that I think you would LOVE! Today we had cold noodles again – this time with peanut sauce. Yummy.

  4. Your breakfast is always fresh and yummy. When you come back home, I am sure you will miss the bread, croissant, and all kind of tender bread just come out from the oven every morning. and also the creamy milk and the french yogurt.

    1. My breakfasts here are SO amazing. You’re right – I’m really going to look back on those pastries and sweet milk. Oh yeah, and the awesome yogurt! Yesterday I bought a chestnut yogurt from the supermarket to enjoy one last time 🙂

  5. Hey, My dear, power outage ruined my weekend. I finally can read your posts. I haven’t missed too much. You know what, I think I like the duck meat too. It looked so tender and delicious to me.

    1. Too bad to hear about the horrible (and dark!) weekend! Hopefully you guys didn’t have to suffer too much without power and wifi. 🙂
I wish you were here to share it with me! It was quite a large portion.

  6. Museum! The most famous painting in the world is here, and you saw it! Wow! I like your lunch. CREME BRULEE! You always wanted to try. Here you went! crispy outside and so tender inside. must be so good. And the dinner, You finally ate the snails! Way to go! I hope you can eat more yummy food and enjoy the rest of your time in Paris!

    1. This comment made me smile so much Mom! Everything you write is so cute 😀
My lunch was one of the best yet, and the dessert was my favourite Parisian dessert so far. I loved it! Yay for snails 🙂 I’m sure I’ll enjoy the rest of the week!

    1. It is beautiful and great for people-watching, unlike the Fraser River which is filled with logs and mud 😛
The dinner was lovely. I love fresh cherry tomatoes. Yup, always eating too much. Every single day!

  7. You have been eating wonderful foods every day. When I look your blog, I always am slobbering all over my mouth. Today we have a meal at a restaurant in Richmond, but we forgot to take pictures for you.
Cindy, Why don’t let Seline to take more photos for you?
When you dry the four pieces coverings, you must miss your home very much I think.

    1. Your comment made me smile so much! I hope you guys had a great lunch in Richmond. Too bad you didn’t take any photos, but I’m sure you all had a lovely meal. Which restaurant?

I do! Seline prefers being IN the photo while I prefer being behind the camera. 😉 But we do switch around occasionally!

What four piece coverings are you talking about?

  8. Also, I like the financier. I think I can finish all three with a cup of coffee.
Mimi and Charles do look like one of the photos.

Alexandre is so cute boy, but be careful while you play with him. Grandpa.

    1. I can’t really read that without Google Translate so you can tell me what you wrote when I get back!
YES I know. Maggie tells me 2930x a day and Mom reminds me the same thing 3984509345 times a day as well. Trust me I know.

  10. I watched your writings and photos. I know you and your sister have a wonderful trip in Paris. Please enjoy your vacation and take a healthy diet that is very important. Grandpa.

    1. It’s sometimes hard to make room for uploading photos and blogging, especially after playing with Alexandre from dinnertime until 10:00, but it is a lot of fun to look at the photos and write on my virtual “diary”. 🙂

    1. Yay! Thank you Mom. All of the food was so great. Of course I finished it. The crepe itself was quite thin and there were just some slices of tomato and goat cheese. I loved it and I wish I could eat 3… hehehe 😀

      1. I found myself wanting to go in search of more “adventure” destinations this summer, which for me means places known for natural beauty and where the language isn’t one I speak fluently. So I don’t know how soon I’ll return to Europe, but Paris will always be really special to me because it’s one of the first places I knew what it meant to fall in love with a city and where I felt I left feeling changed. I hope you get to return soon!
