Ottawa Girl Eats

Hey everyone! Cindy here right now. My sister, as you know, came back from Ottawa on Saturday morning. I’m going to hand her the keyboard so she can tell you all about her adventures halfway across the country. 🙂

This was my first meal here. It’s chicken and rice.

This is my bed and the shared bathroom.  The bed was really uncomfortable.

This was my breakfast and lunch. The lunch is chicken and cheese with potatoes.

This is the view from our dorm.

This is the breakfast and lunch.

The dinner was spaghetti.

Then we went to the parliament. We saw a water fountain with a flame.

Then the tour guide took us to the library. It was so huge and the picture cannot capture how pretty it is.

These were good but I didn’t finish them. I just don’t like pancakes.

This was one of the best lunches. I went back for seconds. It was meat and cheese and pepperoni. It was also like cream of potato soup or whatever.

IMG_0298 IMG_0300

I forgot. Not much, it was good, but the rice was a little bit hard.

IMG_0303 IMG_0305

This was one of my favourite breakfasts! The potatoes were really good.

IMG_0316 IMG_0336

This was some kind of museum, and it was really pretty. We passed the coat of arms so I just took a picture of it.

Then we went to a really pretty church, and inside it was SO big and pretty!

IMG_0397 IMG_0403

I loved the church.

IMG_0405 IMG_0409

That’s still the church. That was the governor general’s house.

IMG_0412 IMG_0440

It’s a hamburger. It was really good, and I put my own condiments on it. The fries were a little soggy. I had two! But I didn’t finish it. Oh, the pickles were kind of dead. They weren’t crunchy or anything.

IMG_0442 IMG_0443

That soup was chicken and vegetable, but it was really sweet so I didn’t like it.

I seriously don’t know what that is. Pastry and some kind of chicken pot pie mashed potato combination.

The waffles were blueberry waffles and this was the worst breakfast because I don’t like waffles OR blueberries, so I think I only ate one.

This was steak, potatoes, and pasta. It was the best lunch I had there. It was cold pasta. That actually wasn’t steak. It was homemade ribs. Yeah it had barbecue sauce.

That’s one of the art pieces in the art museum that we went to. It took up the whole room.

This breakfast reminded me of Ikea! So I really liked it. But it would be better if there were potatoes! The other one I saw at the mall – and I thought Cindy would like to see it so I took a picture of it. These are beaver tails.

This was my friend’s pad thai, and the picture on the right was my A&W mozza burger. DUH this was way better than the other burger you saw above!

This was the dinner and the banquet. Fried fish, three long potatoes, and three random croutons. I got the croutons from the salad bar. Yes I liked the fish. The potatoes were better than Mom’s. I didn’t miss Mom’s food!

Cindy here again! Thanks for writing all of that, Seline. If you want to take another look at her BEFORE post, here it is.  Hope you had a fabulous time in Ottawa and hopefully everyone will enjoy reading and looking at the pictures you shared with us today.
